The control system and automation products of industrial robots mainly involve servo motors, reducers, controllers and sensors. Servo motor is the power system of industrial robot. It is usually installed at the "joint" of robot and is the "heart" of robot movement.
At present, the joint drive of robot can not be separated from the servo system. The more joints, the higher the flexibility and accuracy of the robot, the more servo motors will be used. Robots have high requirements for servo systems. They must satisfy the requirements of fast response, high starting torque, large dynamic torque inertia ratio, wide speed range, small size, light weight, acceleration and deceleration, and high reliability and stability. At present, the most frequently used industrial robots are AC servo systems.
